KENNESAW, Ga. — Seth Surrett blasted a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs. But the LIU baseball team was outslugged by host Kennesaw State in the series finale on Sunday.
The Owls defeated LIU, 12-8, to complete the three-game sweep at Stillwell Baseball Stadium.
Connor Price drove in two runs for the Sharks, while Surrett,
Keniel De Leon,
Carlton Harper and
JC Navarro had two hits apiece.
Tucker LeMay scored a pair of runs.
The teams had a slugfest for the second straight day. The teams combined for 33 runs on Saturday.
The Sharks remain in Georgia to face Georgia Tech on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Mac Nease Baseball Park in Atlanta.
