ATLANTA — The LIU baseball team pounced on Georgia Tech for four first-inning runs, including a game-opening homer from
Seth Surrett.
However, the Yellow Jackets responded with a dozen runs in the bottom of the frame en route to a 23-11, seven-inning win on Tuesday at Mac Nease Park.
JC Navarro finished 2-for-3 with two homers, five RBIs and two runs scored. Navarro has now homered in three straight games.
Carlton Harper went 3-for-4 with three runs scored.
LIU next faces the Citadel in a three-game weekend series in Charleston, S.C.
