EAST MEADOW, N.Y.  — The LIU men's hockey team honored five student-athletes on senior day against Alaska Anchorage.

Adam Goodsir, Anthony Vincent, Austin Rook, Santeri Hartikainen and Vinnie Purpura received a standing ovation ahead of the Sharks' final home series of the season.

LIU entered the afternoon with three home games left in its season — all of which will be played against the Seahawks.

Senior goaltender Vinnie Purpura made 25 saves in the Sharks' 4-0 loss to Seawolves.

LIU returns to action Sunday at 7:15 p.m. at the Northwell Ice Center.
