CORAL GABLES, FLA.—  The LIU men's basketball team wrapped up its Florida road trip on Wednesday night when it traveled to nationally ranked Miami. The Sharks went down early and continued to battle, but fell 97-49.
 
Tai Strickland and Andre Washington led the Sharks in points with 14.

Strickland narrowly missed a double-double as he had a team-high nine rebounds. He also added four steals.
 
Eric Acker once again had a nice shooting night, scoring 13 and adding five rebounds.
 
Strickland and Acker were tied for the team lead in assists with three,
 
The Sharks will return to the court on Tuesday when they travel to take on UMass Lowell at 6 p.m.
