HAMDEN, Conn. — Tindra Holm made a season-high 55 saves, but the LIU women's hockey team fell to No. 8 Quinnipiac, 7-0, on Saturday.

The Sharks have not shied away from challenging nonconference competition this season. In their six games outside of NEWHA, they have faced No. 5 Northeastern and No. 7 Minnesota Duluth twice apiece as well as No. 12 Princeton and No. 8 Quinnipiac.

LIU remains unbeaten in conference play at 14-0.

The team returns to action next weekend with a home-and-home series against Sacred Heart, beginning Friday at 3 p.m. at Northwell Health Ice Center.
