PRINCETON, N.J. —  The LIU men's water polo team continued its gauntlet of tough games to wrap up the season as they traveled to conference foe and nationally ranked squad Princeton on Saturday.
 
Much like the previous matchups against top ranked teams the Sharks started off strong but the Tigers were too much to handle and left the first period with a 7-2 lead. Princeton would keep their momentum going and took home a 22-7 victory.
 
LIU leading scorer Riyad Shehadeh put three in the back of the net, bringing his season total to an even 70. Ben LeClair scored two goals while Charlie Downey and Josep Jodra Muñoz each had one.
 
Goalkeeper Ethan Zirh made 14 saves and now has 351 on the year.
 
The Sharks return to the pool Sunday when they go home to take on Iona at noon.
