DULUTH, Minn. — The LIU women's hockey team's challenging schedule to open the season continued on Friday. And the Sharks remain in search of their first goal.
Seventh-ranked Minnesota Duluth defeated LIU, 6-0, in the first of back-to-back games at AMSOIL Arena.
LIU was coming off a home series against No. 5 Northeastern during which the Huskies won consecutive games.
The Sharks and Minnesota Duluth complete the series on Saturday, with the puck dropping at 4:01 p.m. ET.
