RINDGE, N.H. — Sarah Rourke scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, as the LIU women's hockey team remained undefeated in NEWHA play on Friday night with a 3-1 win against host Franklin Pierce.

With LIU trailing by a goal, Rourke scored the equalizer midway through the first period and the go-ahead goal early in the second period.

The Sharks improved to 3-0 in NEWHA action — with each victory coming by the identical score.

Tindra Holm made 33 saves in Friday's victory.

The teams complete the two-game series at Jason Ritchie Arena on Saturday at 3 p.m.
