NORTH EASTON, Mass. — The LIU and Stonehill men's hockey teams will face off eight times this season.

The Sharks produced a definitive win in the first meeting
 
Six different LIU men's hockey student-athletes found the back of the net as the Sharks defeated host Stonehill, 7-3, on Saturday.

Remy Parker scored twice and Josh Zary, Grayson Constable, Cade Mason, Jordan Di Cicco and Chris Pappas also tallied goals for the Sharks.

LIU built a 3-0 lead late in the first period and never trailed, although the Skyhawks did claw within 3-2 and 4-3.

Di Cicco provided a two-goal cushion heading into the second intermission when he scored on the power play with 7.9 seconds remaining in the second period.

LIU (1-3) returns to action next weekend with Friday and Saturday games at Colorado College.
