LORETTO, Pa. — Victoria Nazar staked the LIU field hockey team to a lead, but the Sharks suffered a 2-1 double-overtime heartbreaker against host Saint Francis U on Friday.
The Red Flash scored the equalizer with 83 seconds remaining in regulation and then prevailed in the second extra period.

The Sharks had entered the match tied with Saint Francis U and Rider for second place in the NEC at 2-1.
