BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The LIU field hockey team suffered a heartbreaking loss to Lehigh on Sunday.
The Sharks fell, 1-0, in overtime.
Lehigh was able to convert a corner chance to score the game-winner just two minutes in.
After winning Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week,
Maggie Streichert had six saves, including one at a crucial spot with five minutes remaining in the fourth.

NEC play begins for LIU on Friday when they welcome Stonehill at 12 p.m.
