Box Score BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU men's tennis team concluded their inaugural regular season with a 6-1 victory over Wagner. The Sharks record improves to 13-9 and 5-3 overall in NEC play.
 
SHARK BITES

• Wagner claimed the first points of the day with wins on doubles courts one and two after dropping court three for the 1-0 match lead.
• Transitioning to singles play, Guilherme De Medeiros tied the match 1-1 with his 6-0, 6-2 victory over Wagner's Lucas Darling.
• The Sharks continued rolling on courts three and four with back-to-back straight set victories. Court three saw Philip Hilble take down Odeda Arazza 6-2, 6-4 while court four featured Alessandro D'Anna defeating Jordan Hunte 6-1, 6-2 to increase the Shark lead to 3-1.
• Moving over to court two, Danila Ishchanka secured the Sharks their fourth straight set victory with his 6-2, 6-4 win against Rodrigo Perez. Moments later, Akhilendran Indrabalan made it five straight set victories in a row when he defeated Joran Hunte 6-2, 6-4.
• In a thrilling three set match on court one, Ben Brandherm came back to beat Tejasvi Mehra 4-6, 6-1, 10-5 to help LIU lock up their 6-1 victory.
• The Sharks 5-3 mark in conference play places them third in the NEC, two spots higher than where they were projected at the start of the season in fifth.
