Box Score BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU men's tennis team fell to St. Francis Brooklyn 4-3 on Monday afternoon. The Sharks record shifts to 12-8 overall and 4-2 in NEC play.

• St. Francis took the early 1-0 match lead by sweeping all three matches on the double's courts.
• Moving into singles play, LIU picked up their first point of the day on court four with Philip Hilble's 6-2, 6-2 triumph against Gleb Mityurin to tie the match 1-1.
• St. Francis though picked up two more wins on the singles courts to lead 3-1, but Sharks kept themselves in the match with a 6-3, 7-6 victory for Alessandro D'Anna over Luis Foix and it became 3-2.
• Even with a three-set victory for Ben Brandherm on court one, it was not enough as the Sharks fell to the Bulldogs 4-3.
• LIU is back in action on Friday, April 8 at 1 p.m. when they take the court against Fairleigh Dickenson.
