Box Score PHILADELPHIA – The LIU men's tennis team fell in a tightly contested match to St. Joseph's 4-3 on Saturday. The Sharks record drops to 12-7 overall with three matches still remaining in regular season play.
 
SHARK BITES

• St. Joe's nabbed the first point of the day by sweeping all three matches on the double's courts to take the early 1-0 match lead.
• Moving to singles, LIU picked up their first points of the day on court four with Philip Hilble taking down Eshan Kanetkar 6-2, 7-5, to put the Sharks on the board trailing 2-1.
• With a 7-6, 6-4 win on court six for Akhilendran Indrabalan, the Sharks grabbed their second point, but St. Joeseph's had already clinched the match win with wins on courts three and two. 
• LIU took a three-set thriller on court five with Alessandro D'Anna defeating Nassim Fenjiro 7-6, 6-3, 10-5 to take the final point of the match and settle the score 4-3 to the Hawks.
• LIU is back in action on Sunday, April 3 when they take the court against St. Francis Brooklyn at home in NEC action.
