Box Score ORLANDO, FL – The LIU men's tennis team took the court against the IUPUI Jaguars and lost 4-3 in a tightly contested affair. The Sharks finish their trip in the Sunshine State 2-2 while their overall record moves to 6-4.
Shark Bites:
- The Sharks claimed the first victory of the day on the second doubles court with Guilherme De Medeiros and Alessandro D'Anna emerging victorious over Blessing Benibo and Colton Morehart 6-4. IUPUI would win on doubles courts one and three to claim the doubles point.
- On the singles courts, LIU nabbed their first point of the day and first win overall on the singles courts with Akhilendran Indrabalan defeating Benido 7-5, 6-3
- Moving to court three, Sergio Fernandez Romera took down Moreheart 6-2, 6-1 to give the Sharks the 2-1 lead and back-to-back wins on the singles courts
- Philip Hilble nabbed a win on court six with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over IUPUI's Nate Day but due to victories on courts one, two, and four, the Jaguars came out on top 4-3
- The Sharks continue their long road trip when they come back up north and travel to North Haven, Connecticut to face Quinnipiac University at 12PM on Monday, March 14th.
