ORLANDO, FL – Despite multiple rain delays and play extending late into the night, the LIU men's tennis team took on Radford University Wednesday evening in the Sunshine State, falling 5-0 to the Highlanders.
Shark Bites:
- Radford started the match strong, winning the doubles point with victories on courts one and two, and leaving play on court three unfinished.
- On court five, Alessandro D'Anna took his opponent Aditya Balsekarto a tiebreaker third set after splitting the first two sets 6-2, 2-6. His match went unfinished though when Radford clinched the match, sealing their win with victories on courts one through four.
- Philip Hilble also took his opponent Robert Hagen to the limit with a 3-6, 6-4, score after his first two sets, but when the match was called due to the lateness of the hour, play went unfinished on court seven.
- The Sharks are back in action tomorrow at 12PM when they take on Northwood University in Orlando.
