EAST MEADOW, N.Y. –The LIU women's ice hockey team hosted No. 15 Penn State at the Northwell Health Ice Center on Friday afternoon. The nationally-ranked Nittany Lions beat the Sharks, 10-0.
 
SHARK BITES

• Penn State drew first blood, scoring two minuntes into the first period to make it 1-0. They scored twice more in the first to extend the lead to 3-0. 
• Penn State added four more goals in the second to go up 7-0. They would add three more in the final period, to make the final score 10-0.
• Tindra Holm finished with 45 saves, nine shy of her season-high.
• Jeannie Wallner won six of her 11 faceoffs, and Molly Meyers led the Sharks' offense with five shots on the afternoon.
• Up next, LIU will host Penn State for the second time in as many days on Saturday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m.
