BOSTON, Mass. – The LIU men's ice hockey team faced off against #11 Northeastern University on the road Saturday, falling to the Huskies, 6-0. The Sharks move to 4-14-3 on the season.

• Northeastern scored three times in the first period to take an early lead. A goal in the second and two more in the third made the final score 6-0.
• Goalie Vincent Purpura made 29 saves in net for the Sharks.
• Carson Musser and Jake Stevens each blocks on defense.
• Billy Jerry led LIU with five shots, while Zack Bross and Zach Nazzarett had three shots each.
• Up next, the Sharks host Saint Anselm, Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd.
