BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - The LIU women's soccer team battled for 110 minutes in their home opener Thursday, but finished the evening with a 0-0 draw against Stony Brook. The Sharks and the Seawolves both move to 0-1-1 on the season with the double OT tie.

Lydia Fraga Cordoba made five saves in the shutout, including saving a penalty kick in the 52nd minute.

Sami Jablonski all had shots on goal, but the SBU keeper made tough saves as well to keep the contest scoreless.
