MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The LIU wrestling team took part in the  2021 Short Hitchcock Memorial Open recently. The Sharks finished third in the field of 53 teams, including some of the top teams on the Eastern seaboard. LIU's performances were highlighted by Ryan Ferro, who won the championship at 174, beating wrestlers from Penn State, George Mason, Navy and Pitt en route to the title, the first such title for the Shark program.
