BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU football team made it two in a row Saturday, winning at home against Wagner, 28-14. With the victory at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium, the Sharks move to 2-5 overall, and 2-2 in the Northeast Conference.
 
SHARK BITES

• Scoring started in the first, when quarterback Camden Orth found Owen Glascoe for a 19-yard touchdown pass to make it 7-0.
• After Wagner tied it up, Kevin Wilson put LIU on top again, taking Orth's pass and diving into the end zone to give the Sharks the 14-7 lead.
• Tied at the half, the Sharks came out and scored touchdowns in both the third and fourth quarters to take the win.
• Senior Derick Eugene caught a pass from Orth for a touchdown, 21-14, and senior Jonathan DeBique ran one in during the fourth to put LIU on top, 28-14.
• Senior Paul Inzerillo made all four extra point attempts for the Sharks.
• Orth finished the day 22-for-34 with 187 yards passing and three touchdowns. DeBique led the rushing game with 94 yards on 14 attempts, while Eugene led the air game with 74 catches on 10 yards. Glascoe had three catches for 47 yards and a TD.
• On defense, Dom Barbuto led the team with nine tackles, including eight solo, while both Thomas Bolesta and Anthony Lavio had crucial sacks for yardage for LIU.
