BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - The LIU women's soccer team fell to Saint Francis U. at home Sunday afternoon, 1-0. The Sharks, who are still seeking a Northeast Conference win, are now 0-3-1 in NEC action.

The game was evenly matched throughout. The teams both registered seven shots. LIU had more shots on goal, with SFU's keeper making more than one save right in front of the net. The Red Flash would score right before the end of the first half. A corner kick bounced off the crossbar and down, upending LIU's defense, and allowing SFU to go up, 1-0.

The Sharks had several chances in the second half, including two right in front of the net that were stopped by the keeper, frustratingly giving SFU the 1-0 win in the end.
