TEANECK, N.J. – The LIU men's soccer team had its six-game winning streak and nine-game unbeaten streak snapped on the road Sunday evening, as the Sharks fell to FDU, 2-0. LIU (9-3-2, 5-1-0 NEC) had not lost since September 8.
The host Knights scored early, taking a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute of play. Despite multiple shots, neither team would score again for the rest of the half.
FDU added another goal in the 57th minute of play to widen the lead to 2-0, and take the win.

Demetri Skoumbakis made five saves in net for the Sharks.
