HAMDEN, Conn. - The LIU women's hockey team began their 2020-21 seasoon on the road Sunday, taking on Quinnipiac. The Bobcats (3-0) got the best of the Sharks, 6-0.

The home team would get on the board. just over eight minutes in, scoring short-handed goal. Quinnipiac's high powered offense would score five more goals,  including one on a power play, to take the win from LIU.

Sophomore goalie Kenzie Harmison had 47 saves in net for the Sharks, while the defense had 15 blocked shots, including three each from Paula Bergström and Julia Hoffman.

Up next, the Sharks open at home, hosting Sacred Heart, January 6 at 3 p.m.
