HAMDEN, Conn. - The LIU women's hockey team fell to Quinnipiac on the road Saturday evening, 5-0. The Sharks played the Bobcats as a part of a home-and-home series, and will host QU at Ice Works Sunday.

• Freshman Delaney Bonifacio was a standout for the Sharks, with four shots and three blocks on defense. Linn Ploug also had three blocks for LIU.
• Paula Bergström and Carrigan Umpherville both had three shots on goal for LIU.
• Kenzie Harminson made 46 saves in net for the Sharks.
• With the loss, LIU moves to 0-4.
• Quinnipiac and LIU will face off at Ice Works Sunday, January 17 at 2 p.m.
