BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association honored five Long Island University wrestling student-athletes for their achievements in the classroom with the 2020 Academic Achievement Award as announced on Tuesday, March 31.
The annual academic honor is awarded to student-athletes that have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 and participated in the EIWA Championship, or have achieved a 3.0 GPA and qualified for the NCAA Championship.
In its first season on the league, LIU boasted five individual honorees, tied for 10th among the 17 member schools. The following student-athletes received the recognition:
