The Sharks enter EIWA action with a 2-11 record in dual meets this year, earning its first victory over a Division I opponent when it took down Gardner-Webb University last weekend at the Patriot Duals. Drexel also enters the match with two dual victories, albeit in just four dual matches. Both Drexel setbacks have come against top-10 opponents in No. 4 Oklahoma State University and No. 10 Pittsburgh.

Redshirt-sophomore Sean O'Malley leads the Dragons with six victories on the season, while four others ran second with five wins. Redshirt-senior Ebed Jarrell is looking to close his career with a bang in 2019-20, entering the match ranked inside the top-20 in five national rankings this season, earning a ranking as high as No. 17 by FloWrestling. Jarrell boasts a 5-3 mark on the season and holds 62 career victories on the mat.

For the Sharks, freshman Jimmy Ryan enters as one of the hottest wrestlers at 125, finishing 4-0 last week at the Patriot Duals. On the year the first-year grappler leads LIU with nine victories, including a 7-3 dual record and 25 dual points. After making the jump to 141 last weekend, freshman Michael Blando finished 2-0 on the day, earning a 27-21 decision over Davidson College's David Loniewski and pinning Gardner-Webb's Brandin Bright during the first period.
