Pat Briody joined the LIU Sports Medicine staff as an Athletic Trainer in 2023. He earned his B.A. in Health Sciences from Gettysburg College in 2021, where he was also a member of the wrestling team, and went on to complete his M.S. in Athletic Training at Stony Brook University in 2023. 

Briody also served as a summer intern with Army West Point Football and completed clinical rotations with Stony Brook football and Stony Brook men's lacrosse.
