Ena Leufroy competed for the University of Miami in Florida. There, she earned All-ACC and All-American honors and received a bachelor’s degree in Finance. After the University of Miami, Leufroy decided to attend Johnson and Wales University’s Culinary school.

Leufroy began her coaching career while at Johnson and Wales where she was the assistant track & field and cross-country coach. A few years later, Leufroy competed in the U.S. and internationally in the 800m at the elite level. During this time of training and competing, she also returned to coaching at a handful of high schools in Los Angeles, California.

She started at Santa Monica High school, coaching cross-country and middle distance. She later joined the Wildwood High school staff where she coached all disciplines. While still at Wildwood, Leufroy took a head cross country coaching position at the Archer School for Girls. During the six years she coached for these three high schools, Leufroy helped multiple athletes to continue their track & field careers at the Division 1 collegiate competition level.
