Michael Brech joined The Schwarz Institute and LIU Brooklyn in August of 2023, where he provides athletic training coverage for Men's Water Polo, Softball, and Men's and Women's Fencing. Michael earned his Bachelor's in Health and Physical Education from Monmouth University in 2021 and his Master's in Athletic Training from Stony Brook University in 2023.
Beyond LIU, Michael provides athletic training coverage across Staten Island, from the local high school football field and basketball court to the dugout of the Staten Island Ferryhawks. Michael is a certified lifeguard, and has been since 2019, working part-time at his local YMCA.
Michael is a NATA and NYSATA member, and holds athletic training licenses from the states of New York and New Jersey.
A lifelong New Yorker, he currently lives on Staten Island with his fiancée Alaina.
