Michael Fiorella joined LIU as an assistant athletic trainer in 2020. In 2023 he was promoted to head athletic trainer of the Brooklyn campus.

Prior to LIU, Michael served as an athletic trainer at St. Francis College where he worked with the men's and women's volleyball teams.

Michael graduated from Stony Brook University in 2019 with a B.S. in Athletic Training and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

At LIU, Fiorella works with men's basketball, bowling and softball.
