Michael Brech joined the LIU athletics training staff in August 2023

Brech graduated from Monmouth University in 2021 with a bachelor of science in health and physical education and in 2023 with a master's in athletic training. 

He works with men's water polo and and men's and women's fencing. 

Outside of LIU, Brech has been a certified lifeguard since 2019. He is CPR/AED certified, basic first aid certified, and emergency use of medical oxygen (EUMO) certified. 

He currently resides on Staten Island.
