Ellis Chance has served as an assistant coach with Raenee Savin since 2012.
He served as an assistant coach from 2020 through 2022 with the Trinidad and Tobago senior women's indoor and outdoor teams.
Chance previously served as an assistant coach at Drew University from 2008 to '10. He started coaching for the Malvern USA Field Hockey Club in 2001 and also was involved in the Impact Field Hockey Club in 2009.
He played forward on the Trinidad national team from 1994 through 2002 and also played at the Commonwealth Games, Pan-Am Games, CAC Games and the Caribbean Games.
He has worked numerous field hockey camps at University of North Carolina, James Madison University, University of Maryland and Bloomsburg University as well as at international camps.
Chance earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Anima Senior Comprehensive in Trinidad.
