BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — Junior Jen Rodriguez received NEC Player of the Week honors, while senior Sarah Wall earned NEC Pitcher of the Week honors, the conference announced on Tuesday. 

Additionally, junior Lily Hinkle earned Prime Performer honors. 

Rodriguez went 8-12 at the plate in LIU's four games last week, including a 7-10 mark in LIU's three-game series sweep of the University of New Haven last week. Rodriguez totaled one run scored, one RBI, three doubles and two walks across four games. 

In four appearances, Wall posted an ERA of 0.47, a 2-1 record, 14.3 innings pitched, seven hits, one earned run, five walks, and 15 strikeouts. Opposing batters posted a batting average of 0.137 last week. In LIU's series against New Haven, Wall posted an ERA of 0.00 with 14 strikeouts and six hits surrendered. 

Hinkle totaled seven hits with a batting average of .438 last week, adding two runs scored, one RBI, one double, and five stolen bases. 

LIU hosts Wagner in its season series finale on Wednesday, April 8, at 12 p.m.
