Grace Babington, Addison Robillard, & Ryane Kearns Earn All-NEWHA Honors

Babington named 1st-Team All-NEWHA, Robillard earns 2nd-Team & All-Rookie honors, Kearns on All-Sportswomanship Team

WINTHROP, Mass.Grace Babington, Addison Robillard, and Ryane Kearns of the Long Island University women's ice hockey team all earned New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) awards following the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season, the conference announced on Thursday. Babington was named a First-Team All-NEWHA selection, Robillard was named a Second-Team All-NEWHA and All-Rookie Team selection, and Kearns was named to the NEWHA All-Sportswomanship Team.
 
Babington, a junior forward from Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts, played in all 36 games for the Sharks, scoring a team-best 15 goals and 17 assists for 32 points, while compiling a +4 rating. She was named NEWHA Player of the Month this past January.
 
This is the third straight year Babington has earned all-conference honors. She was also named a first-team all-conference selection after her sophomore season and to the All-Rookie Team after her freshman season.
 
Robillard, a freshman defender from Pembroke, Ontario, Canada, played in all 36 games for the Sharks, scoring four goals with nine assists for 13 points and a +6 rating. Robillard scored two overtime goals to spark the Sharks' second-half surge where they won 11 of their last 14 regular season games.
 
She was named NEWHA Rookie of the Month in January and earned three weekly honors from the conference this season (defensive player of the week, Jan. 7 & Feb. 24; rookie of the week, Jan. 7).
 
Kearns, a senior forward from Prior Lake, Minnesota, played in 29 games, scoring three goals with seven assists for 10 points, recording a +3 rating.
 
LIU finished the 2025-2026 season with an 18-15-1 overall record and a 16-11-1 record in conference play.
