BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — LIU'S Sam Keogan has been named the NEC's 2025 Fall Scholar-Athlete award winner for men's soccer.
 
The senior, who majors in Psychology, boasted a 3.91 GPA. On the field, Keogan earned multiple honors for the Sharks, including All-NEC Second Team recognition, while also being named to the All-NEC Tournament Team. He appeared in all seventeen regular season games for LIU, playing 90 minutes in each, scoring two goals, and playing a key defensive role while leading the way to seven clean sheets.

Keogan also went on to make the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll and NEC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll. A full list of athletes earning such honors, including all those from LIU, can be found below.
