PLYMOUTH, Mass. - Senior forward
Paige Vreeman of the Long Island University women's ice hockey team was named New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Player of the Week and freshman defender
Addison Robillard was named NEWHA Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday. The duo helped lead the Sharks to a weekend sweep of Post University in the final games of the regular season.
This past weekend, Vreeman tallied five points, scoring three goals with two assists and two blocked shots, while recording a +6 rating.
