BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - Sophomore forward Lotte Haagmans and junior forward Gigi Ranoldo of the Long Island University field hockey team were named NEC Prime Performers, the conference announced on Tuesday. The duo earned recognition for their performance this past weekend in games versus Central Michigan University and Colgate University.

On Saturday versus Central Michigan, Haagmans scored two goals with an assist and Ranoldo scored two goals. The multi-goal efforts were the first by an LIU player this season.

The Sharks return to action this Friday, Sept. 19, at Saint Francis University at 3 p.m. The game will be televised digitally on NEC Front Row.
