BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - After leading LIU men's soccer to a 1-0-1 week to open up the 2025 season, Tal Levy and Andrew Marotta have been named NEC Prime Performers.
 
Levy scored the go-ahead goal at the 81:59 mark in the Sharks' 1-0 victory over UMass Lowell on Aug. 24. He also recorded one shot in his team's 1-1 tie against Bryant on Aug. 21.
 
As for Marotta, the redshirt-freshman had five saves in goal over the two games as he helped LIU remain undefeated.
 
The Sharks will return to the field Sunday, Aug. 31, hosting UAlbany at 5 p.m.
