Winthrop, Mass. — The New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) unveiled its 2024-25 All-Academic Team on Friday, with 27 members of LIU's women hockey team earning recognition.
 
To be eligible, student-athletes must have achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average in both the first and second semesters.
 
For LIU, Grace Babington, Clara Kammholz, and Abbie Thompson all additionally received 2025 Student-Athlete of the Year distinction for maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
 
Maggie Culp and Sarah Rourke were among just five NEWHA student-athletes to receive All-Academic Team honors for the fifth time. Bri Eid, Mary Rachel Lenaeus, and Jeannie Wallner all earned the honor for the fourth time, respectively.
