Storrs, CT — LIU baseball lost to UConn on Tuesday, falling 11-1.
Noah Sorensen went 2-for-3 for the Sharks and scored the first run of the game as LIU jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the fifth. He was driven in by
Joseph Durso, who tallied his ninth RBI of the year.
UConn tied things up at one later in the inning, and went on to score ten runs in the fifth.
LIU will return to the field on Friday, March 14, visiting Wagner at 3 p.m.
