Benjamin Fierenzi Has Two Hits for LIU in Loss to Wake Forest

Ryan Rivera finished with four RBI in LIU's season-opening double-header, despite the loss.

Winston-Salem, N.C. — LIU lost the second game of its season-opening double-header, falling 14-2 to Wake Forest.

Ryan Rivera hit a sacrifice fly to tally his fourth RBI of the day following a three-run home run in the game one 6-3 win against Marist. Benjamin Fierenzi had two hits despite the loss.

LIU will return to the field Saturday, February 15, taking on Wake Forest at 11 a.m. and Marist at 2:30 p.m.
