Sharks Conclude Season Following NEC Tournament Matchup with Saint Francis

Francisco Tolaba had 3 shots on goal despite 2-0 defeat in NEC tournament

Loretta, Pa. — LIU men's soccer saw its season come to a close after dropping a 2-0 game to Saint Francis in the NEC Tournament on Thursday.
 
As the Sharks sought out what would have been a third straight trip (and third straight win) to the NEC Championship, Francisco Tolaba helped lead his team's offensive attack with three shots on goal. Kai Philipp also had three shots, including two on goal. On the other end, goalkeeper Alex Bobocea came up with three saves.
 
LIU concludes its season with an 8-3-7 record, including an undefeated 4-0-3 mark at home.
