BROOKVILLE, N.Y.  — LIU defeated Howard 2-0 on Sunday afternoon, improving to a still undefeated 3-0-2 record at home this season.
 
Fadel Kone helped the Sharks jump out to a 1-0 lead in the first half, scoring his first collegiate goal just shy of the thirty-one-minute mark. As LIU continued to mount the pressure, Jack Stainrod scored his third goal of the campaign later in the second half.
 
Alex Bobocea completed the shutout in goal as the Sharks improved to a 6-2-6 record on the campaign and 3-1-2 in conference play.
 
LIU returns to play on Thursday, Oct. 30, hosting New Haven at 3 p.m.
