BROOKVILLE, N.Y.  — The Sharks secured a 2-0 win over Le Moyne on Sunday afternoon, improving to 5-0-2 in conference play.
 
Freshman Brooklyn Menard scored her second goal in as many games, giving LIU an early 1-0 lead. She was assisted by Betty Hall, who later scored a goal of her own to help her team put the finishing touches on the shutout.
 
This was LIU's second shutout of the campaign. Keely Thomas looked strong in goal, recording three saves.
 
The Sharks return to the field on Sunday, Oct. 19, visiting CCSU at 12 p.m.
