BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — The LIU men's hockey team continued its dominance of Stonehill this weekend.
The Sharks defeated the Skyhawks by scores of 3-1 on Friday and 5-0 on Saturday at Bridgewater Ice Arena.
In the first game,
Josh Zary sealed the win with a power-play goal midway through the third period that established a two-goal advantage.
On Saturday,
Adam Pitters scored a pair of goals during a three-goal second period for the Sharks that opened a 3-0 lead.
LIU has now defeated Stonehill in all five games this season.
The Sharks next head west for games against Alaska Fairbanks next Friday and Saturday.
