Grace Babington sealed the Sharks' 4-3 overtime win against Saint Anselm.
Bri Eid opened the scoring with her third goal of the season in the second period, giving LIU a 1-0 lead.
Ryane Kearns extended the Sharks' lead with two goals in a four-minute span, including a power-play tally, to make it 3-0.
The Hawks stormed back with three third-period goals to force overtime. That's when
Grace Babington delivered.
The sophomore netted the game-winner with a quick wrist shot from the slot, securing LIU's ninth win of the season.
Abbie Thompson stopped 22 shots in goal for the Sharks.
The teams will face off again Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Northwell Health Ice Center.
