BROOKLYN, N.Y. — As LIU opens its NEC schedule, the team will do so under the bright lights of one of the biggest stages.
The Sharks will host Le Moyne at Barclays Center to begin conference play on Friday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
The game will also be broadcast on NEC Front Row and ESPN+.
LIU split its season series with the Dolphins last year, 1-1. The last matchup was on Feb. 22, Senior Night, and resulted in a 76-64 victory.
The Barclays Center game will mark the start of conference play for the Sharks as LIU aims for a Northeast Conference title.

Jan. 5 - Family Night vs. Chicago State (2:00 PM)
Bring the whole family for an unforgettable night featuring giveaways, mascot appearances, and an opportunity for kids to high-five players as they enter the court.
Jan. 30 - Coaches vs. Cancer vs. Central Connecticut State (7:00 PM)
Join us in spreading awareness for cancer research in partnership with the American Cancer Society. The evening will honor survivors and support ongoing efforts to find a cure.
Feb. 8 - Black History Month Game vs. Stonehill (2:00 PM)
Celebrate Black excellence with a night dedicated to honoring the legacy of Black athletes.
Feb. 15 - Shark Nation Community Day vs. FDU (2:00 PM)
Support local entrepreneurs and connect with community businesses at our Small Business Saturday Game. This event will also feature refreshments and opportunities to spark new partnerships.
Feb. 27 - Senior Night vs. Wagner (7:00 PM)
Celebrate the seniors as they take the court for their final home game. Special presentations and tributes will honor their contributions to LIU Basketball.
