EAST MEADOW, N.Y. — Tyriq Outen's first career Division I win is one he will always remember.
Outen stopped 19 shots in LIU's 3-2 win against Yale at the Northwell Health Ice Center on Friday night.
Josh Zary,
Isaiah Fox, and
Onni Leppänen each found the back of the net for LIU in the Sharks' sixth win of the season.
Zary set the tone for the Sharks by scoring the game's first goal just 3:08 into the opening frame.
Fox would eventually score the game-tying goal with 32 seconds left in the second period to tie the game at 2.

Leppänen secured the game-winning-goal 5:32 into the third period lifting the Sharks to its first home win at the Northwell Health Ice Center this season.
