BROOKVILLE, N.Y. — The Sharks kept on rolling with yet another impressive win against conference opponents on Thursday.
Grace Hennig added to her team-leading five goals on the season with two in LIU's 4-0 victory over Delaware State. The former NEC Player of the Week also assisted Yanelia Fernandez on what became her first goal of the season. Junior
Betty Hall scored her first goal of the season in the first half, giving the Sharks an early lead that helped set the tone. LIU took the lead and never looked back – completing its first shutout of the season.
This latest win marked the third time this season the Sharks scored four goals in a contest. The club is now 4-1 at home, 4-1-1 in conference play, and stand tall as winners of four of its last five.
